Fat Frogs Racing

Our Mission Statement:  Fat Frogs Racing exists for the purpose of promoting the sport of cycling, primarily through racing, under the USA Cycling Organization. The team has a focus on development with membership open to anyone wanting to try bike racing of any type, style, or at any level. The team strives to invest its resources in those activities that discover, develop, and improve new racers of all ages, male and female. Individually, team members focus on activities that help each other improve and become stronger, smarter, and a more complete cyclist. Collectively the team seeks to place as high as possible in the Virginia BAR racing series, all the while remembering to HAVE FUN. This is a pastime, not an occupation.

Membership: Fat Frogs Racing membership is made up of all ages from 9 years of age and up, abilities from beginners to masters. We average about 50 members a year. All team members are equal no matter their abilities.  >> Join the team here <<

Team Accomplishments: Since the team was created in 2007 we have won the team competition 5 times and never finished below 3rd in the state. For the 2017 and 2018 seasons we have had numerous, Best All-Round Riders (BAR) winners in several different categories, from juniors to masters for both men and women categories. Races: As a team we promote two races a year, Conquer the Canal Time Trial, and Turkey Run CX.
